29.7.6 HTTPS Example

If you haven't changed the default HTTPS port on the NXC, then in your browser enter "https://NXC IP
Address/" as the web site address where "NXC IP Address" is the IP address or domain name of the NXC
you wish to access.
29.7.6.1 Internet Explorer Warning Messages

When you attempt to access the NXC HTTPS server, a Windows dialog box pops up asking if you trust the
server certificate. Click View Certificate if you want to verify that the certificate is from the NXC.
You see the following Security Alert screen in Internet Explorer. Select Yes to proceed to the Web
Configurator login screen; if you select No, then Web Configurator access is blocked.

Internet Explorer 7 or later version
When you attempt to access the NXC HTTPS server, a screen with the message "There is a problem with
this website's security certificate." may display. If that is the case, click Continue to this website (not
recommended) to proceed to the web configurator login screen.
