29.3 USB Storage

The NXC can use a connected USB device to store the system log and other diagnostic information. Use
this screen to turn on this feature and set a disk full warning limit.
Note: Only connect one USB device. It must allow writing (it cannot be read-only) and use the
FAT16, FAT32, EXT2, or EXT3 file system.
Click Configuration > System > USB Storage to open the screen as shown next.
Chapter 29 System
DESCRIPTION
Enter a name to identify the NXC on a network. This is usually the NXC's fully qualified domain
name. This name can be up to 64 alphanumeric characters long. Spaces are not allowed, but
dashes (-) underscores (_) and periods (.) are accepted.
Specify the name of the place where the NXC is located. You can enter up to 61 alphanumeric
and '()' ,:;?! +-*/= #$%@ characters. Spaces and underscores are allowed.
Enter the domain name (if you know it) here. This name is propagated to DHCP clients
connected to interfaces with the DHCP server enabled. This name can be up to 254
alphanumeric characters long. Spaces are not allowed, but dashes "-" are accepted.
Click Apply to save your changes back to the NXC.
Click Reset to return the screen to its last-saved settings.
