Release steam manually
Steam can also be released manually in the
following cases:
■ If automatic steam release is to be
accelerated at the end of a preparation
programme.
■ If a preparation programme was
cancelled.
■ If the pressure locking handle cannot
be opened because the appliance is not
completely depressurised.
W Warning
Risk of burns!
When pressing the steam release button,
hot steam escapes from the steam outlet
under high pressure. Never bend over the
appliance while the steam release button is
being pressed!
1. Keep the steam release button pressed
until no more steam escapes from the
steam outlet.
2. Open the appliance. Open the pressure
locking handle for this purpose (M)
and press the opening button on the
base appliance for this purpose.
Note: If the pressure locking handle cannot
be opened, the appliance is not completely
depressurised. In this case, manually
depress the overpressure protection using
a thin pin until no more steam escapes
from the appliance. Then open the pressure
locking handle (M) and press the opening
button on the base appliance.
Preparation without steam
pressure
There are 16 pre-configured prepara-
tion programmes available to choose
from.X "List of preparation programmes"
see page 22
Note: When selecting and starting the
preparation programme without steam pres-
sure function, make sure that the pressure
locking handle is open at all times (M).

1. The appliance is ready to use. Fill the
appliance with the desired ingredients.
To do this, open the lid and pour the
ingredients into the pan. The measuring
scale on the inside of the pan can also
be used to read the quantity.
Warning!
■ Do not fill the pan beyond the marking
[ 4.0 liter]!
2. Close the appliance. Press the lid down
for this purpose until it clicks into place.
3. Press button B in order to access the
function selection mode.
The desired preparation programme is
selected in the function selection mode
and all settings of the appliance are
made. Button B as well as the indicator
[ мой режим ] (My mode) lights up perma-
nently. Button G flashes. "00:00" is shown
in the display.
Notes:
■ Certain preparation programmes or
steps are carried out with the lid open.
X See recipe book provided
■ If no input is made on the control panel
within 5 minutes, the appliance auto-
matically switches to standby mode.
