Powering the DS-8B3 and DS-16B3 On and Off

To apply power to the DS-8B3 and DS-16B3, connect at least one
power cable to an AC receptacle on the switch and to a power source.
The switch runs POST (power-on self-test) by default each time it is
powered on, reset, or rebooted, and requires approximately 3
minutes.
To end the flow of power to the DS-8B3 and DS-16B3, power off and
then remove the power cord from the power source.
Removing all power from the switch triggers a system reset. All devices are
returned to their initial state the next time the switch is powered on.
