    Line Interface (CLI). As part of its effort to continuously improve and enhance the performance and capabilities of the EMC product line, EMC periodically releases new versions of the EMC Connectrix Departmental Switches and Enterprise Directors. Therefore, some functions described in this guide may not be supported by all versions of Fabric OS currently in use.

This guide is part of the EMC Connectrix Departmental Switch and Enterprise Director documentation set.     Introducing the DS-4900B Managing the DS-4900B You can use the management functions built into the DS-4900B to monitor the fabric topology, port status, physical status, and other information to help you analyze switch performance and to accelerate system debugging. The DS-4900B automatically performs power-on self-test (POST) each time it is turned on.
