4.5 Modbus Discrete Inputs
Discrete Inputs are read-only, single bit data fields that are used to provide access to
status information. Status is indicated as: 1 is the value ON, and 0 is the value OFF. The
Discrete Inputs are read with Function 02(0x02) Read Discrete Inputs.
Note that PLC Addressing (Base 1) is used.
