open the application. To use the 2N LiftIP Service Tool for multiple unit
administration, click on extended settings. The Connection list will be displayed where
you can create and name connections. In this case, do not use the default connection
for connecting of new and unknown units. Create new records into the structure for
permanent connections.

When you connect a new 2N LiftIP to the network and do not know its IP address,
use a network scanner. The scanner sends a request to the network and connected
unit through routed networks. The response is displayed in a table. Double click the
respective table row to get connected to the device. The device offers you to check
the access data for match. All the found objects are displayed in the table. The new,
unlisted ones are marked with a green plus.
