Automatic Lock

Users can lock their phones as a security precaution. Make sure the phone is configured with
any of the lock options before attempting to lock it. If a lock option isn't configured, the lock
action won't work.
➢ To lock the phone:

Press the 'back' hard key for at least three seconds for the device to automatically lock.

Smart Unlock

The smart unlock feature is available for the PIN code lock option. When the phone displays a
lock screen as shown in the figure below, the user does not need to swipe to unlock the
phone.
➢ To unlock the phone without swiping:
1. Start typing your unlock PIN code; the phone displays the digits as you type:
2. When the phone detects the unlock code, it unlocks.
