802.1X Authentication is the IEEE Standard for Port-based Network
Access Control (PNAC). See
more information. In Version 1.2.196, 802.1X Authentication is
supported for MD5 only. Support for EAP-TLS will be added in the next
release.
In the 'Modify Network' screen (as an Admin), access the 802.1x Settings
screen.
To configure EAP-MD5 mode for 802.1X:
1. Set the EAP method to the MD5 option.
2. Enter this information:

Identity: User ID
✔
Password: MD5 password (optional)
3. Touch the Save softkey.
Touch the menu option VLAN Settings .
Touch VLAN Discovery mode .
