Connecting Additional Cameras

You can connect up to two additional cameras such as a PTZ camera, either as an
alternative or as an addition to the built-in camera.
You can use the A/V connections, the camera port, or the data ports on the back of the
videophone, depending on what equipment you are connecting. Refer to the
documentation supplied with your camera or contact your distributor for further
information.
To connect a camcorder to your videophone using A/V sockets:
• You need a pair of phono A/V cables.
• Follow any instructions provided with your camera when connecting the
equipment.
Connect the video output from the camera to Video In on your videophone.

If the camera has a built-in microphone that you want to use, connect the

camera's audio output to your videophone's Audio In.
Press the
menu button to access the Setup Menu.

Press the number 5 key to access the Audio Options menu, then press the

number 1 key.
Set the Input Source to Line 1 using the Right or Left arrow keys.

Press the
enter button twice to save the changes.

Tip: Make sure you connect video to video and audio to audio.
To connect a Sony EVI or Canon VCC3/4 pan/tilt/zoom camera:
• Use the Video In A/V connection and use a Data Port on the back of your
videophone to connect the camera control PTZ cable. Follow any instructions
provided with your camera.
Configure the Data Port Options:
Press the
menu button on your videophone to access the Setup Menu.

Press the number 6 key on your keypad to access the Data Port Options menu.
