External Connectors

There are a number of external connectors on the back of your videophone which are
detailed below.
Video In
12 VDC, 3A
Audio In
Audio In
Use with any line audio source, VCR or camcorder
microphone. When used, set Input Source to Line 1.

Audio Out

Use with any line audio equipment, such as TV set, VCR or
amplifier.
Video In
Use with any composite video source, such as a second camera
or a VCR.
Video Out
Use with any composite video equipment, such as a TV set or
VCR. It enables the picture to be displayed on both your
videophone and a TV set.
Port 1
For RS-232 serial peripherals and PTZ cameras. DB9 female,
DCE pinning, requires a straight pinned DB9 cable for
connection to a PC.
Port 2/Camera
For RS-232 serial periperals, and external cameras &
microphones. Requires adaptor cable. Contact your Black Box
Representative for information.
Port 3/
For RS-232 serial peripherals, and future expansion modules.
Accessory
Requires adaptor cable.
Power
Power in connector to be used only with the power supply
provided with your videophone.
Network
Use to connect to any 10 or 100 Mbps network hub or switch
Uplink/PC
Use to connect to your PC, allowing the videophone and PC to
share a single network connection.
