NOTICE

engine compartment lid!
Close the bonnet before lowering the wiper arms

Do not turn on the ignition when the windscreen

wiper arms are folded away.
Set the wiper arms to the fold-down position using
the operating lever

Switch the ignition on and off again.
Set the wiper arms to the fold-down position using
the infotainment
›
In Infotainment, select the following menu.
Outside Mirror and wiper
›
Select the menu item for the service position of
the windscreen wiper arms.
The windshield wiper arms assume the folded posi-
tion.

Fold the windscreen wiper arms away from the
windscreen.

By moving your finger sideways, choose the screen
with the menu item Mirror and wiper .

Select Choose mirror and wiper and then select the service
position of the wiper arms.
The windshield wiper arms assume the folded posi-
tion.
After the ignition is switched off, a menu is dis-
played in the infotainment screen, in which the wind-
screen wiper arms can be set to the folded position.
Replace the windscreen wiper blade
CAUTION
Risk of accident!
Change the windscreen wiper blades once or twice

a year.

Fold the windscreen wiper arm away from the
windscreen.
Lighting, windscreen wipers and washers ›
›
Within 10 seconds,
press the control lever
down and hold for
about 2 seconds.
The windshield wiper
arms assume the fol-
ded position.

Press the fuse and re-
move the wiper blade.

Insert the new wiper
blade until it clicks into
place.

Fold the windscreen
wiper arm back onto
the windscreen.
›
Turn on the ignition
and push the control
lever down.
