Stand in the middle behind the bumper.

Bring one foot under the bumper in one swift
movement and remove it again.
If the tailgate does not move, wait a few seconds
and repeat the swivel movement.
Closing indicator
Acoustic signals sound when the tailgate is closed.
Stop / restore tailgate movement
The tailgate movement can be stopped with a swift
swivelling movement with the foot. The tailgate
movement is restored by a subsequent swivelling
movement with the foot.
Restriction
The system function may be restricted in the follow-
ing cases.
Downpour.

Dirty rear bumper.

In Infotainment, select the following menu item.
Outside "Easy open"

By moving your finger sideways, select the screen
with the menu item "Easy open" .

Select "Easy open" .
We recommend that the function is deactivated in
the following cases:
Installation of a roof rack.

Coupling a trailer or other accessories to the hitch.

Washing the vehicle.

Maintenance and repair work in the back of the ve-

Unlocking the boot lid
Release
If the boot lid does not open, it can be unlocked
manually by the following procedure.

Insert a screwdriver into the opening in the panel.

Release the tailgate by moving it in the direction of
the arrow.
