Shutdown Procedures

a. Turn the Power Switch to the Standby position. Ensure Standby is
displayed on the left center of the tracker display. The POS mode
will display and then change to Standby when the SGA reaches the
stowed position.
b. With the system in standby the SGA will be in the stowed position
protecting the lenses from debris, and allows the cooler to remain on.
c. Turn the Power Switch to the Off position.
d. When the Power Switch is set to Off, the system turns off and sets
the brake in the elevation axis.
Gimbal from rotating out of the stowed position by force of gravity.
The setting of the brake takes 15 seconds. The monitor will go blank
after the brake has been set. There is no brake in the azimuth axis.
Anti-Ice Power – Remove the direct current (DC) power from the host
craft to the SGA anti-icing circuitry (OFF AT CIRCUIT BREAKER). The
Anti-Ice switch is used when the temperature is below 32ºF.
System Power - Turn the DC power from the host craft to the SeaFLIR II
Imaging System Off (OFF AT CIRCUIT BREAKER).

Initial Setup

The operator uses the initial setup menu to enter Agency name and Date
and time information as well as other operator selectable parameters into
the SeaFLIR II Imaging System.
3.6.1

Agency Name Setup

The Agency name field (Figure 3-31) is used to display Agency name or
other identifying information (19-character field) into the video display.
The Agency name field is setup using the following procedure:
a. Press MENU Switch.
b. Scroll through the Top-level menu to Initial setup.
c. Press ADJ Switch.
d. Scroll down through the Initial setup menu to Agency name.
e. Press ADJ Switch.
