RST – The RST position is used to reset the system. To place the
system into the RST position requires that the push button on the back of
the switch be depressed and the switch turned to the RST position. This
essentially removes all electrical power from the system.
OFF - In the OFF position, electrical power is available to the system
CPU for maintenance use only.
Standby - In the Standby position the micro-cooler circuits become
active and start the cool-down process for the IR camera. In this position
the HCU switches and controls are ineffective except the Power Switch
and Backlight Control.
ON – In the ON position the system becomes fully operational.
3.1.12

SCAN Control

The SCAN rate adjustment control is used to adjust the scan rate when
in Auto-Scan.
when in the Rate mode (preferred), Gyro Null or Heading Hold (H HOLD)
modes. To adjust the Strain Gauge sensitivity, go to Rate mode, and
use Scan Control to adjust Strain Gauge sensitivity.

Auto-Scan Switch

Pressing the Auto-Scan Switch activates automatic-scan and sets the
current pointing position as the center of the search arc. The automatic
scan will scan a preset area (40° - 180°) wide, 20° - 90° each side of the
starting position. Scan width area is selected using the SHIFT switch
and then the FOCUS Rocker Switch.
3.1.14

Gain Control

This control manually adjusts image contrast for both the IR and CCD
cameras. It is only enabled in manual gain mode, disabled otherwise.
3.1.15

Auto Gain Switch

This switch is used to turn IR and CCD auto gain on and off. When used
with the CCD camera both Level and Gain are activated simultaneously.
3.1.16

LEVEL Control

This control manually adjusts image brightness. It is only enabled in
manual level mode, disabled otherwise. This control is used for both the
IR and CCD cameras.
