Please can you let me know what the factory default communication setting is for a Jaguar V-LX-61 bought in the UK? Also what setting to activate to get the computer to control the cutting settings rather than doing these manually from the cutter itself

    Jaguar V User Manual Conductive Copper Wires Installation Step 1 Remove the leftmost and the rightmost screws from front and rear platens, and lock the magnets on the front and rear platens with screws. Step 2 Place both ends of conductive copper wires on two magnets which are just locked on the front and rear platens.

    Jaguar V User Manual Blade Installation Figure 2.4-1 is the illustrator of the blade holder. Insert a blade into the bottom of the blade holder and remove the blade by pushing the pin. Make sure that your fingers are away from the blade tip.

Please note the outward ring of the holder must put into the grooves of carriage firmly (see Figure 2.4-5), then fasten the case (Figure 2.4-6).     Jaguar V User Manual 2.5 Automatic Blade Length Detection Figure 2.5-1 is the new blade holder with a scale and the carriage with a mark. This blade holder detects blade length automatically and shows how the knob needs to be turned on the LCM.

    Jaguar V User Manual 2.6 Cable Connection The cutting plotter communicates with a computer through a USB (Universal Serial Bus), a Serial port (RS-232C) or Ethernet. This chapter shows you how to connect the cutting plotter to a host computer and how to set up the computer/cutting plotter interconnection. Notice: When USB connection is enabled, serial port will be disabled automatically.

Caution!!  If you are using Windows 7 and above as your operating system, make sure you log in using the “Administrator” account. Step 1 Put the installation DVD into your CD-ROM.

    Jaguar V User Manual Chapter 4 Operation Media Loading Paper Roll Step 1 Install one paper hub onto one side of paper roll. Paper Hub Step 2 Slide the feed shaft through the paper roll. Step 3 Install the other paper hub onto the other end of paper roll and set it firmly (Figure 4-1).

The “Cut Test” should be repeated until the appropriate cutting conditions for the media are discovered. After sizing the media, press [CUT TEST] button to select the “square cut”, and press [ENTER KEY] to confirm.
