Table 7-1 Operation modes
・ Mode to initialize the FL312 internal hardware/software when the power is
turned on or when a reset request is issued.
・ Transmission is not performed in this mode.
・ No request from S2 is accepted.
・ Initialize mode last approximately 2 seconds and then standby mode is
entered.
・ Node status: INZ bit is set
・ LED: RUN off
・ FL312 module itself is normal, but the FL-net link is disconnected for the
following reason. Therefore, transmission is stopped.
1) Parameter not set
2) Standby request issued from S2
3) Transmission area is duplicated with other nodes
・ Node status: STBY bit is set
・ LED: RUN on, LNK off
・ Normal transmission status. Communication by cyclic transmission and
message transmission is possible.
・ Node status: RUN bit is set
・ LED: RUN on, LNK on
・ FL312 has detected an error and has stopped. Auto recovery is not
possible from this mode. If this mode is entered by a temporary error,
recovery is possible by turning on the power once more or issuing a
reset request.
・ Down reason can be determined by checking the down information stored
in the RAS information area.
・ Node status: DOWN bit is set
・ LED: RUN off
However, if the node address is duplicated, the RUN LED remains on
(FL311 and FL312).
Also, in the case of FL312, the RUN LED remains on in case of down
mode when attempting to link to protocol version 1.00 network.
