3.3 Node Address Switch (NA-H, NA-L)

This is the hexadecimal rotary switch used to specify the FL-net node number. It is located
at the front of the module. It is set with a thin flat head screwdriver. This node number
becomes the host address of the IP address. Refer to section "9.3.4 FL-net IP Address" in
the "General Operation Manual" for details. The IP address becomes 192.168.250.N,
where N is the node number set with this switch. N can be from 1 to 254 (hexadecimal 1 to
16#FE).
Node number 0 is reserved as a special factory setting and should not be used. FL312 will
not operate if the node number is set to this value. Also, node number 255 (hexadecimal
16#FF) cannot be used. FL312 will fail with address setting error if the node number is set
to this value.

3.4 10BASE5 Connection Connector

Connect an AUI cable when using this module with 10BASE5.

3.5 10BASE-T Connection Connector

Connect category 5 UTP cable when using this module with 10BASE-T. Insert in modular
connector (10BASE-T) taking note of the direction of the UTP cable connector.

3.6 MAU Power Supply Terminal Block

This terminal block is used to supply the MAU (transceiver) power and ground the AUI
cable shield when using 10BASE5. Install the included terminal unit to the terminal block at
the front of the module and connect 12 VDC power to the plus and minus 12 Vdc terminals
and ground wire to FG (frame ground) terminal.
Only the FG terminal is connected to the ground wire when using 10BASE-T.
