This manual describes how to use the FA control network FL-net(OPCN-2) modules
(FL311 and FL312) of the Integrated Controller V series model 3000. The hardware
and operation of these modules are described. For general information concerning the
FL-net, refer to the "FL-net General Operation Manual."
FL311 and FL312 comply to different FL-net(OPCN-2) protocols as shown below.
Therefore, FL311 and FL312 cannot run on the same network. Also note the protocol
version when connecting to other manufacturer's FL-net compliant modules.

FL312
FL311 and FL312 have the same interface to model 3000 controller. The following
descriptions refer to FL312 for simplicity.

Describes the dedicated request function for the FL312.
