TROUBLESHOOTING

Suspected malfunctions are often due to causes that the user can fix themselves.
Therefore check the product using this section. In most cases the problem can be solved quickly.

Only perform the steps described within these instructions!
All further inspection, maintenance and repair work must be performed by an authorized service center
or a similarly qualified specialist if you cannot solve the problem yourself!
Problem
Unit will not start when the
trigger switch is depressed.
Product does not reach full
power.
Line will not advance.
Possible Cause
The battery is not secure.
The battery is defective.
The battery is not charged.
Defective trigger mechanism.
The air vents are blocked.
The line is worn, depleted or
tangled.
The spool is worn.

Solution
To secure the battery pack,
make sure latches on the
bottom of the battery pack
snap into place.
Replace with a new, charged
battery.
Charge the battery pack
according to the instructions in
this manual.
Take it to an authorized service
center or if within the warranty
period, call Customer Service.
Remove battery and clear
debris from in and around the
air vents.
Install more line, refer to the
Line Replacement section.
Replace the spool, refer to
Spool Replacement section.
