ASSEMBLY
SAFETY GUARD (See Figure 4)
■ Align the safety guard with the trimmer head (13).
■ Secure it by tightening the three mounting screws with a screwdriver (Fig. 4).
INSTALLING / REMOVING THE BATTERY PACK
To install battery pack:
■ Align the raised ribs on the trimmer handle with the grooves in the battery pack (1), and then insert
the battery pack into the handle.
■ Push the battery pack (1) until you hear a "click".
NOTE: Make sure that battery pack firmly snaps into place and is secured to the trimmer handle
before starting operation.
To remove battery pack:
■ Stop the machine.
■ Press the release button on the battery pack. Grasp the trimmer firmly, and pull the battery pack out
of the handle.
