Fault
The start motor operates
correctly but the product
does not start.

the parking brake is re-

Troubleshooting
Measure the resistance between the
wiring to the pedal plate pin 2 and the
negative battery terminal. If the lift
lever is in the top position, the resist-
ance must be low.
Do a check that the grounding point
on the engine is fully tightened.
Do a check that the yellow cable to
the engine gets voltage from the bat-
tery when the key switch is in ignition
position.
Do a check that the grounding point
on the engine is fully tightened.
Measure the resistance between the
black cable to the motor and ground.
Without an operator in the seat, the
resistance must be low. The resist-
ance must be high when there is an
operator in the seat.
Do a check that the microswitch
changes the position when the lift lev-
er is lifted.
Do a check of the parking brake mi-
croswitch.
Do a check of the parking brake mi-
croswitch.
Measure the resistance between the
black cable to the motor and ground.
Without an operator in the seat, the
resistance must be low. The resist-
ance must be high when there is an
operator in the seat.
Action
Repair the cable or re-
place the wiring.
