7. Turn the screws right or left until the ground
pressure is between 12 and 15 kg (26.5-33 lb).
9.6.4 To adjust the parallelism of the cutting deck
1. Remove the front cover and the right footrest plate.
2. Remove the screws that hold the belt shield and
remove the belt shield.
3. Loosen the nuts on the lift strut.

4. Turn the lift strut to extend the stay or make it
shorter. Extend the stay to lift the rear edge of the
cover. Make the stay shorter to lower the rear edge
of the cover.
5. Tighten the nuts on the lift strut when the adjustment
is done.
6. Do a check of the parallelism. Refer to
check of the parallelism of the cutting deck on page
8 .
7. Attach the belt shield and tighten the screws.
8. Attach the right footrest plate and the front cover.
9.6.5 To adjust the cutting height
1. Make sure the cutting height stay is attached to the
cutting deck.
2. Put the cutting height lever in the lowest cutting
height position.
3. Remove the right footrest plate. See
covers on page 17 .
4. Adjust the stay for the cutting height adjustment until
there is no play between the cutting deck and the
cutting height stay.
5. Do a check of the parallelism of the cutting deck.
