10. Attach the hydrostatic transmission cable. Make
sure that the hydrostatic transmission is correctly

3. Remove the belt guide cover and belt guide.
4. Remove the drive belt from the engine belt pulley.
5. Remove the lock spring on the ball joint for the
speed control.

6. Remove the ball joint for the speed control (A).

7. Remove the clamp on the speed control cable (B)
from the rear frame.
8. Make marks on and disconnect the hydraulic hoses
from the couplings below the product.
9. Loosen the steering cables (A) and remove the
steering collar.

10. Remove the belt pulley (B).
11. Remove the center spring. The tension in the center
spring is very high. Use the special tool for center
Servicing
spring to release the center spring. See
tools on page 3 .
WARNING: Use protective goggles and
gloves when you remove and attach the
center spring.
