10. Push in the side pin (➀) while turning the paper cutter cover
to the left to close the casing (➁).
11. Make sure that CLOSE LOWER COVER is displayed on the LCD
panel, then close the lower cover. The cutter holder moves to
the home (far right) position.
12. Wait until READY appears on the LCD panel. Paper cutter
replacement is complete.
After replacing the paper cutter, the print head nozzles may be
clogged. Perform a nozzle check and clean the print heads. See
your Startup Guide.

Cleaning the Printer

To keep your printer operating at its best, you should clean it
thoroughly several times a year.
1. Make sure the printer is turned off and all the lights are off.
Then unplug the power cord.
2. Remove the roll paper spindle. Also remove any sheet media
from the printer.
