Connecting the pressure pipe

Depending on the station arrangement, plastic or grey cast iron

fittings
are used.
Plastic fitting
• Mount shut-off valve <17> if required (optional).
• Connect pressure pipe <A>
- vertically on the drainage connection <20>.
- horizontally on the shut-off valve.
Pay attention to tightening torques, see page 6.4.
Grey cast iron fitting
• Attach the fitting as shown, tighten all bolts hand-tight initially:
- backflow protection device <25>
- Y-branch pipe <15>
- shut-off valve <17>
Bolts <34> and <35> have different lengths: <34> = 65 mm
4 bolts are used for each flange.
• Tighten all bolts, from top to bottom.
• Connect pressure pipe <A>
Pay attention to tightening torques, see page 6.4.
