Meaning
The charger is ready for charging, but no
charging takes place.
The vehicle is charged with protective
conductor monitoring activated.
The power plug is overheated.
Possible fault cause: Multiphase socket
connected only as single phase.
Charging is performed at a reduced rate.
The vehicle is charged with protective
conductor monitoring deactivated.
The control unit is overheated.
Charging is performed at a reduced rate.
Remedy
e Start the charging process.
f Refer to chapter "Starting charging" on page 29.
The fault is automatically reset once the power plug has cooled
down.
Until it has cooled down, charging takes place only at a reduced
rate.
e If the fault persists, have the power supply/domestic
connection checked by a qualified electrician.
The vehicle should ideally be charged with protective
conductor monitoring activated.
f Refer to chapter "Activating protective conductor
monitoring" on page 30.
The fault is automatically reset once the control unit has cooled
down.
Until it has cooled down, charging takes place only at a reduced
rate.
e If the fault persists, have the control unit checked by a
qualified specialist workshop/Porsche partner.
