2. Deactivating or activating a component

Have the component maintained or repaired at
the next opportunity:
Visit an authorized Porsche dealer. Porsche rec-
ommends an authorized Porsche dealer as they
have trained technicians and the necessary parts
and tools.
The following functions are available:
– Read out message.
– Display nearby authorized Porsche dealer in the
PCM.
– Close message. The message appears again
when the PCM is restarted.
Further information on maintenance and repairs of
the component can be called up via My Porsche:

Deactivating Smart Service

Activate private mode to deactivate the Smart
Service (availability dependent on country).

Information
Individual services can be deactivated via the Con-
nect Settings in My Porsche.

Due to the different usage possibilities, the contents
described here are not available in all models, coun-
tries, and equipment configurations.

The voice can change in stressful situations. This
could lead to the desired phone connection not being
established, or not being established fast enough.

Do not use voice control in an emergency.

Enter the emergency number via the PCM.
The voice control system communicates with the
driver, thereby providing assistance for using the ve-
hicle and completing various tasks while driving.
It is your helpful companion and can be used interac-
tively. The voice control system acts on and responds
to voice input, makes suggestions, performs searches
based on your queries, and incorporates environmen-
tal data.
Selected air conditioning, ergonomic, media, naviga-
tion, and phone functions can be activated and sim-
ply and easily controlled and used via voice com-
mands.
A help function is available in voice control.

b Porsche Connect activated in My Porsche.
b Data transmission to the cloud approved.

b Data connection sufficient.

All voice control functions are available in online
mode.
Online mode is indicated by the symbol in the
PCM.
If the data connection is inadequate, the PCM auto-
matically switches to offline mode. In offline mode,
some voice control functions are available to a limited
extent.
If voice control is in offline mode, this is indicated in
the PCM by the symbol.
b Ignition is switched on.
b Reverse gear not selected.
b No phone call active.
b Park Assist not active.
