EASY ANGEL DESSERT

INGREDIENTS
1 – 16 oz. pkg. angel food cake mix
1 – 20 oz. can crushed pineapple
with heavy syrup
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Place all ingredients in the baking pan. Mix well with a fork.
Bake 17 minutes or until nicely browned; turn oven off. Let cake remain in oven
2 – 3 more minutes. Remove, and let cool.
KITCHEN TIP:
Loosen the cooled cake from the pan by sliding a metal spatula between the
cake and pan, constantly press the spatula against the pan and draw it around in
a continuous, not sawing, motion.
COOK'S TIPS:
Serve with whipped cream, ice cream or fruit.
