4 Intended use
4.1 Indications for use
System ankle joints are intended to be used exclusively for providing a
patient with a lower limb orthosis.
In case of unilateral use, the manufacturer recommends that the system
ankle joint be processed by means of the lamination resin technique or car­
bon prepreg technology.
4.2 Indications
Partial or total paralysis of the leg muscles.
Indications must be determined by the physician.
4.3 Combination possibilities
Combination 17AD100* with 17B203* E-MAG Active
The 17AD100* Nexgear Tango orthotic ankle joint can be combined with the
17B203* E-MAG Active orthotic knee joint.

INFORMATION
Do not make any further static or dynamic changes to the 17AD100*
after automatic calibration of the 17B203* E-MAG Active.
If patient-specific adjustments to the 17AD100* are required, repeat the
process steps for automatic calibration of the 17B203* E-MAG Active
according to the 647G1165 instructions for use.
