Source AC Control Connections (cont.)
power strip. Plug the AC power strip into the ACC-48's #1 AC outlet. VCRs or other
components with clocks that require constant AC, should always be plugged directly
into an AC outlet.
b.
Plug the PF-200 External power amplifier into the ACC-48's #2 AC outlet.
Step 4 - Programming the Delta-88's 9 Pin "D" Connector for Zone Tracking
a.
Plug the Delta-88 into an AC outlet.
b.
Turn on the Delta-88 by first selecting a room button and then any source button. The
Delta-88's "Source Display" will first read "POWER UP" followed by the selected source
name.
c.
To enter the program mode, press and hold the LABEL button until its LED is lit. Please
note, the Delta-88 will automatically time out of the program mode if no functions are
selected.
d.
Keep pressing the PRESET button until the "Source Display" reads MODE 2 SETUP.
e.
Press and hold the LOUDNESS button. The "Source Display" will change between
"DB9=ROOMS" and "DB9=SOURCES". Release the LOUDNESS button while the
display reads "DB9=ROOMS".
f.
Press the LABEL button to exit the programming mode or simply allow the Delta-88 to
time out.
Step 5 - Testing the ACC-48's Operation
a.
Turn off the Delta-88 by pressing and holding the ROOM OFF button. The display will
read "MUTING"....."ALL OFF"...."POWER DOWN"....."ALL OFF"....and then the time.
b.
Make certain that the power switches to the sources and amplifiers are in the on
position. Please note, if your sources have a "soft" power switch, one that does not stay
in the on position, you will need to either modify the source or assign a keypad transport
button to send the source a power on command.
c.
Turn on a room by first selecting a room button and then a source button. All the sources
should turn on.
d..
Press the room button that is using the external amplifier and select a source for this
room. The amplifier should turn on.
e.
Turn off the room with the external amplifier pressing the room button and then
pressing the ROOM OFF button. The "Source Display" should read "ROOM OFF" and
the amplifier should turn off.
f.
Press the ROOM OFF button. The "Source Display" will read "MUTING"....."ALL
OFF"...."POWER DOWN"....."ALL OFF"....and then the time. The sources should all
turn off.
