5.1 BEC cables
With the KOLIBRI BEC, High Voltage / High
Performance digital servos may be used as long as
you do not exceed the following specifications of
the KOLIBRI:
10 A
continuous current
30 A
max peak current
To provide full BEC power all KOLIBRI ESCs
feature two BEC connectors, which, must be used
when BEC voltage is more than 5 A.
• The Master cable must be plugged into the
throttle channel.
• The Slave connector can be plugged into any
unused receiver channel.
If necessary, the BEC voltage may be adjusted
between 5 V - 9 V in 0.1 V steps by using the
programming unit.

5.2 Motor cables

You may connect the 3 motor cables in any order
you wish, as exchanging any of the two cables will
change motor rotation direction. Alternatively, the
direction of motor rotation can be changed via the
programming unit. If the motor used in your model
has sensor cables, they are not needed and will
remain unplugged.

5.3 Sensor ports

The sensor ports are to be used with the external
module, the Bluetooth module or for the telemetry
cable. You have two sensor ports on the KOLIBRI
140 LV.
6. Getting started
Always use polarized connectors for the
!
battery cables! Connecting the battery with
reverse polarity will destroy the ESC!
