Recommendations for motor wiring

a)
Avoid running the motor wires in parallel with other wires for a distance longer than 2 meters. If this situation
cannot be avoided, use a shielded cable for the motor wires. Connect the cable shield to the iMOTIONCUBE
GND pin. Leave the other end disconnected.
b)
The parasitic capacitance between the motor wires must not bypass 10nF. If very long cables (tens of meters)
are used, this condition may not be met. In this case, add series inductors between the iMOTIONCUBE outputs
and the cable. The inductors must be magnetically shielded (toroidal, for example), and must be rated for the
motor surge current. Typically the necessary values are around 100 μH.
A good shielding can be obtained if the motor wires are running inside a metallic cable guide.
