Like on a cell phone, the LTE signal intensity/strength will show the typical wireless bars to indicate
how strong the signal is. Textually, the possible states for the LTE signal are Severe, Bad, Good, or
Excellent. For the Link Up icon, the status will be either Link Up or Link Down. In this case, the link is
the LAN connection.
The number of devices connected is simply a count of how many different devices are using the UE at
that moment in time. The PIN status displays the state of the USIM card, e.g., whether inserted or not.
5.2.2 Change the Password
To secure access to the UE, Baicells strongly recommends that you change the GUI password from its
default value and record the new password in case you forget it. The password may be 5 to 8 ASCII
characters (letters, numbers, and special characters). A more secure password includes a mix of upper
and lower case letters plus numbers and special characters.
To change the password:
1. CAT4 UE: Go to System > admin (Figure 9).
2. CAT6/7 UE: Go to Settings tab > System > Account (Figure 9).
3. Enter the old password, then the new password, and verify the new password.
4. Save/Apply the settings.
