3. Exposure Control Modes
Aperture-Priority mode
Set the aperture value to a higher number if you want a larger in-focus area (in front of and
behind the focused subject), or to a lower number for the opposite.

Turn the shutter speed dial to select [A] (AUTO).

Turn the aperture ring to select the aperture value.
• Aperture-Priority mode is set and the recording mode icon
changes to [A].
• To compensate the exposure, use the exposure
compensation dial. (>90)

¢ You may not be able to select some values depending on the zoom lens position.
Shutter speed set
60s to 1/4000s
(When the mechanical shutter is used)
1s to 1/16000s
