B. Lower thread tension
As displayed in the figure, turn the tension adjusting nut
① of the thread adjusting device clockwise, and the
lower thread tension gets stronger. If it is turned
counter-clockwise, the tension gets weaker.

Tension adjustment is required depending on sewing conditions (sewing materials and thread).

1. The tensions of the upper thread in the above table
are measured when the upper thread is taken out
through the thread hole on the lower part of the
needle bar (figure a).

C. Adjust thread take-up spring tension and movement
ⓐ Release screw① and turn the lower thread supporting
spring plate② in the direction of the arrow, and the
tension of take-up spring③ will increase.
ⓑ Release screw④ and turn the lower thread supporting
spring guide⑤ in the direction of the arrow, and it will
increase the movement of the take-up spring③.

2. The tensions of the lower thread in the above table
