    Installation of machine 4.1 Place for the machine to be installed 1) D o not install this sewing machine beside TV• Radio • Wireless phone which may cause noises in the sewing machine. 2) D o connect this sewing machine’s power into the direct AC socket. When using the connected cord, it may cause a malfunction of the sewing machine. For proper working of this product, please observe the instructions for the installing environment which are described in this Guidebook.     4.7 How to control the speed of increasing and decreasing of the upper feed plate 1) Turn the handle ② of the pressure reducing valve ① of the solenoid valve attached to the bottom of the table as shown in the picture [a]. Then both the increasing speed of the upper feed plate and the pressure to support when increasing go up. While turning the handle counter clockwise, the speed and the pressure go down.

    Preparations before using the machine 5.1 How to lubricate 1) C heck out the remained oil in the oil tank which is installed in the arm and supply oil fully, if necessary. <Picture 5-1> Make sure to supply oil when the machine is used initially or after long time. Caution 2) C heck out the remained oil at the bed oil separator by using the oil filling port on the bed cover and then supply oil fully.

    5.3 Thread 5.3.1) Upper thread guiding Position the thread take-up at the top and then guide the thread as shown in the picture. In the case of thread guide of the needle bar, guide thread for the heavy materials as shown in the picture ① . <Picture 5-6> 5.3.2) Lower thread guiding 1) Insert the bobbin in the bobbin case as shown in the picture. 2) P ut the lower thread through the gap of the bobbin case and then insert the thread into the thread hole depending on the situation. 3) Let the lower thread come out about 25mm from the thread hole.

    5.3.3) How to attach/separate the bobbin case Hold the handle of the bobbin case and then push it to the shuttle until it makes a sound. bobbin case handle <Picture 5-9> If a machine start operating while the bobbin case is inaccurately attached to the hook, it may have the thread get tangled or the bobbin case taken out. Please make sure to operate the machine as the bobbin case is perfectly attached to the hook.

    6.7.3) How to control the openness of thread guide disk 1) Loosen the screw for the thread release controlling plate. 2) Implement the trimming to open the thread guide disk. 3) A djust the openness of the thread guide disk to be at 0.6~0.8mm for general materials, at 0.8~1mm for heavy materials. When opening wide the angle between the thread release controlling plates, the openness of the thread guide disk increases. When narrowing the angle between the thread release controlling plates, the openness of the thread guide disk decreases. 4) After the controlling is complete, fasten the screw. When the openness is not proper, the remained threads get smaller or inconsistent. In addition, the thread guide disk won’t be closed completely.

    6.8 Control of the parts related to wiper 6.8.1) How to control the wiper position 1) W hen the height of the end of the needle at the needle plate is 19.5mm, loosen the screw for the wiper rotating shaft collar and the screw for the wiper crank. 2) P ress the oscillator link of wiper and control the wiper shaft to be around 10mm away between the wiper and the needle. 3) Fasten the screw for the wiper rotating shaft collar and the screw for the wiper crank 4) L oosen the screw for the wiper to control the gap between the wiper bottom and the needle end at around 1mm.     6.13.2) How to adjust the link stopper screw 1) C heck out if there are some rooms between the thread trimming cam roller and both ends of the thread trimming cam when pushing the thread trimming driving link toward the thread trimming cam from the operating part of the thread trimming cam at the lowest point of the needle bar. 2) C ontrol the end of the link stopper screw close to the A part of the thread trimming connecting rod while the thread trimming cam roller is inserted to the operating part of the thread trimming cam. 1) If there are some rooms between the thread trimming cam roller and both ends of the thread trimming cam, a malfunction of thread trimming may occur or the assembled parts won’t be taken out when starting sewing or trimming thread.
