Windows sound system compatible sound
system provides internal speakers and
microphone as well as jacks for an external
microphone and headphone.
This jack lets you transfer video data to external
devices. Use an S-Video cable. Data output

S-Video cable.
This jack outputs analog audio signals.
A 3.5 mm mini microphone jack enables
connection of a three-conductor mini jack for
monaural microphone input.
An internal modem provides capability for data
and fax communication. The speed of data
transfer and fax depends on analog telephone line
conditions. It has a modem jack for connecting to
a telephone line. Both of V.90 and V.92 are
supported only in USA, Canada, UK, France,
Germany and Australia. Only V.90 is available in
other regions.
The computer has built-in support for Ethernet
LAN (10 megabits per second, 10BASE-T), Fast
Ethernet LAN (100 megabits per second,
100BASE-Tx) and Gigabit Ethernet LAN (1000
megabits per second, 1000BASE-T). Some
models are equipped with a Gigabit Ethernet LAN.
Some computers in this series are equipped with
Bluetooth functions. Bluetooth wireless
