PROLONGED INACTIVITY AND SERVICE RESTART
In case of prolonged inactivity of the ro-
bot, it is necessary to carry out a series
of operations to assure its correct func-
tioning when it is reused.
1-Clean the robot properly (see "Robot
cleaning")
2-Carry out battery recharge at least
once a month for lead batteries and
every 5 months for lithium batteries
(see "Battery recharge")
3-Place the robot in a safe and dry

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE
Here below are some indications to fol-
low during the use of the robot.
– Even after a proper reading of instruc-
tions, at its first use, simulate some
test moves to detect the controls and
the main functions.
– Make sure the fixing screws of the
main parts are tightened properly.
– Carry out a frequent trimming of the
lawn to avoid an excessive growing of
the grass.
– Do not use the robot to trim grass
higher than 10 cm.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR MAINTENANCE
Important
During maintenance operations, use
the individual protections indicated by
the Manufacturer, especially when in-
tervening on the blade.

4-Disconnect the plug of the power

Service restart
Before restarting the robot after a long
inactivity, proceed as shown.
1-Connect the plug of the power supply
unit.
2-Carry out battery recharge (see "Bat-
tery recharge")
– If the lawn is set up with an automatic
watering installation, programme it
so that, at the beginning of watering,
the robot has already completed the
trimming of the area (start it at least
6 hours before watering).
– Check the ground gradient and make
sure that it does not exceed the maxi-
mum values allowed so that the use of
the robot does not cause dangers.
Before performing maintenance opera-
tions, make sure that the robot has
stopped in safety conditions (see "Ro-
bot safety stop").
