You may follow the quick installation steps if the following conditions are true:
There will only be one Access Point on this network;
You will use all the software default values;
You do not need to configure an IP address for the Access Point and do not
intend to manage it via telnet or a Web browser;
You will not be setting ESSIDs on your network; and
You do not wish to enable Security or configure an Encryption Key for your
network.
If the above conditions are not true, more detailed configuration information is described
in Chapter 5.
If your installation meets the preceding criteria, proceed with the following instructions:
Note:
Government regulatory agencies mandate that the antenna not be alterable.
Therefore, the RangeLAN802 Access Point uses a custom antenna connector.
Do not attempt to use a different antenna or you may damage the connector
and the Access Point unit.
2. Quick Installation
1. Firmly screw in clockwise the antenna onto the antenna connector
on the back panel of the Access Point.
