1)-2 Set the bobbin for detection around which bobbin thread is not wound to the inner hook.
1)-3 Turn ON the power to the sewing machine.
Adjust sensor installing plate 7 with screw 6 so that receiving ray value of the sensor amplifi er

refl ecting from the bobbin is maximized (500 or more is recommended) at the position where the
outer hook 8 does not fully cover hole 5 of the inner hook.
Caution : Adjust so that the sensor does not come in contact with the drive portion of moving
knife, outer hook, etc.
When the sewing machine is operated while the sensor comes in contact with the drive
portion, the sewing machine will be damaged.

2) Adjusting the position of the nozzle installing plate
Adjust nozzle installing plate 3 so that the air coming from nozzle 1 blows to the center of lens 2
of the fi ber sensor.
At this time, install the plate so that nozzle 1 does not come in contact with lens 2 and the top end
of nozzle 1 comes to the end of lens 2 .
Caution : Adjust so that the nozzle does not come in contact with the drive portion of moving
knife, outer hook, etc.
When the sewing machine is operated while the nozzle comes in contact with the drive
portion, the sewing machine will be damaged.
Adjust the position of the nozzle so as to remove the dirt adhering to the lens.
Otherwise, failure of detection will be caused.
