5.1 Donning and doffing the residual limb sock
Donning
1) INFORMATION: Only don dry residual limb socks.
Roll up the residual limb sock and remove it from the foam inlet (see
fig. 1).
2) Place the residual limb sock on the end of the residual limb and roll it out
free of creases (see fig. 2).
Doffing
1) Roll the residual limb sock up from the open end to the closed end and
remove from the residual limb (see fig. 3).
2) Recommendation: clean the residual limb sock according to the sec­
tion "Cleaning and Care" (see Page 11).
5.2 Cleaning and Care
INFORMATION
When not in use, store the residual limb sock rolled out over the foam inlet.
This hinders folds or creases in the gel from forming.
1) NOTICE! In order to avoid damage, do not wring out when wash­
ing.
Hand wash the residual limb sock in warm water (30 °C) with mild deter­
gent.
2) Thoroughly rinse the residual limb sock with clear water.
3) INFORMATION: Using a hand towel can speed up the drying pro­
cess.
Leave the residual limb sock to dry lying flat on a washing stand or a
hand towel.
6 Disposal
This product may not be disposed of with regular domestic waste in all juris­
dictions. Disposal that is not in accordance with the regulations of the coun­
try where the product is used may have a detrimental impact on health and
the environment. Please observe the information provided by the responsible
authorities in the country of use regarding return and collection processes.
