Standard Installation - Dynojet POWER COMMANDER III Installation Instructions

There are two methods of installation of the Power Commander.
1 The Standard install takes 30 minutes to accomplish, but the fit is better.
2 The Quick install takes about 15 minutes. While this method is easier,
it may allow wiring to be visible with certain aftermarket seat assemblies.

STANDARD INSTALLATION

Loosen these bolts
PCIII connector
1 Remove the seat.
2 Remove saddlebags if installed.
3 Remove left and right side
covers.
4 Remove the battery (negative
terminal first)
5 Loosen the two 7/16 nuts that
retain the ECM to the battery
tray enough to pull the ECM
away from the frame (Fig. A).
6 From the left side (underneath
the left side cover area) feed the
PC III connectors in front of bat-
tery tray, and out the right side
(in front of the ECU bracket)
