11 Troubleshooting

Fault
Motor will not start.
No vibration with running engine.

If faults occur with this machine that are not described in this manual, contact the
manufacturer. Do not eliminate the faults independently.
Possible causes
Engine switch in the OFF position.
Throttle lever in the stop or idling
position.
Not enough fuel.
Wrong tapped clearance.
Worn valves.
Cylinder and/or piston ring wear.
Worn spark plugs.
Worn V-belt.
Worn clutch lining.
11 Troubleshooting
Remedial measure
Put the engine switch in the ON
position.
Place the throttle lever in the start
position.
Refuel. Check the fuel supply and
filter.
Check the tapped clearance, adjust
if necessary.*
Have the machine repaired.*
Replace V-belt.
Replace clutch lining.**
