Working with the VDO SmartTerminal Settings
Network settings
In the Network settings, you obtain access to the submenus for the IP settings
as well as the WLAN settings.
The data port is required for the communication between VDO TerminalService
and VDO SmartTerminal. The communication with the terminal occurs via this
port. The port must be activated for the communication in the firewall of the op-
erating system. For any questions, please contact your network administrator.
By default, port 8000 is used.

If you wish to run the VDO SmartTerminal via network, you can make the set-
tings for this.
