• Loudspeaker
Activates / deactivates the loudspeaker on the VDO
SmartTerminal
The loudspeaker is active by default.
• RFID reader
Activates / deactivates the RFID reader on the VDO
SmartTerminal
If the RFID reader is activated, the driver is requested to
scan his/her driver's license after insertion of a medium
into the device.
The RFID reader is activated by default.
Information Description
Screen saver • Start screen saver
Activates / deactivates the screen saver on the device
The time to activation can be set under option Start
after X minutes.
The screen saver is activated by default and starts after
10 minutes.
• Start after X minutes
This option specifies after how many minutes the
screen saver starts on the VDO SmartTerminal. The op-
tion is only available when option Start screen saver is
activated.
