Administration Area - VDO SmartTerminal Operating Instructions Manual

Working with the VDO SmartTerminal
You can reach the administration area via Miscellaneous.
In order to activate the administration area, you must enter the corresponding
PIN which was set via the VDO TerminalTools. This is 0000 by default.
In addition to this access to the administration area, you are able to view the li-
censed packages.

To get to the administration area, you will need to enter the appropriate PIN. By
default, this is 0000.

Under Date and time, you can set the current date, time as well as the time
zone and activate the automatic switch between summer and winter time.
If you want the VDO SmartTerminal to synchronise the time with a time server,
you can activate the function of the NTP-Server.

NTP Server Option for the automatic synchronisation of the time with
an NTP server
If this option is deactivated, the time must be set manually
on the VDO SmartTerminal.
NTP server name Displays name or IP address of the NTP server
Date Displays the entered date
Time Displays the entered time
Time zone Displays the entered time zone
