IMPORTANT
Port Entry field for the connection port to the
VDO TerminalService (right side next to the server information)
By default, this is 4711 and can only be changed on the
server via the VDO TerminalService configuration pro-
gram.
[Login] Starts the VDO TerminalTools, provided all the information
is correct
[Cancel] Cancels the login operation
With every successful connection, the VDO TerminalTools automatically
store the user name as well as the server and port. This means there is no
need to re-enter this information with every request.

Position Description
Menu tree
You are directed to the main menus of the application via
the menu tree.
Terminal list
List of VDO SmartTerminals which are stored in the sys-
tem.
Menu bar
You can start actions in the currently selected main menu
via the menu bars.
By a right mouse click in the lists, a pop-up menu is avail-
able in which all important actions can be requested.

Settings and information for a selected VDO SmartTer-
minal
Selection menu to change the language setting.
