2.5 Signal Wirings

RS -422 and RS -485 are new standards intended to succeed
the popular RS -232. RS -422 and RS -485 still preserve most
of the signals specified in RS -232. However the signal wirings
are different. The RS -422 interface is based on one-t o-one
principles, while the RS -485 interface is based on wire
sharing.
For the RS -422 interface, the cable must follow the
connection description below:

For the RS -485 (two-wire mode) interface, the connection
