6.- INSTALLATION.
• Check the «Safety Instructions» (see document EK266*08).
• Make sure that the data on the characteristics plate are those required for the installation.
• Poor connection or handling may cause probems in the unit and/or the loads connected to it. Read the instructions
in this manual carefully and follow the steps indicated in the established order.
6.1.- Care for your safety.
• All connections of the equipment including the control (communications) will be carried out with all switches at
rest and no mains present (by cutting the DC and AC input line - only in models with Bypass in «Off»).
• When AC input voltage is supplied to CS with Bypass, the mere fact of having the switch (S1) in "Stand-by" ( ) does not involve
the suppression of the voltage across the output terminals. To do this and depending of the version equipment, it is necessary
to set switches (Q4), (Q7) and (Q2) to "0" or "Off". If the unit also has manual Bypass, it must be made sure that the switch (Q5)
is not turned on, as through this the output supplies direct voltage from the AC mains. Para ello y dependiendo de la versión,
6.2.- Points to remember.
• To cross section of the DC input line, AC output and Bypass AC input will be determined from the nominal currents
indicated on the characteristics plate, and will necessarily comply with the Local and/or National Low Voltage
Electrotechnical Regulation.
Likewise, the calibre of the protections of the distribution panel of the DC input line and AC Bypass line, should
there be any, will be of U and D curve respectively, and at least the maximum current for the DC input line and the
nominal current for the AC input line of the Bpypass.

Voltage Electrotechnical Regulation in accordance with the current values of the unit. Should these cross sections
have to be changed for any reason, this must be carried out through a separate distribution box and the indicated
cross sections must be maintained from the unit to the distribution box.

6.3.- DC input connection, terminals (X1-X4).
• The ground connection ( ) must necessarily be connected to the terminal (X5), and this will be done before
connecting the DC voltage to the INVERTER. Depending on the model of the equipment, an exclusive terminal
block, or a general one, which in either case will be identified with the label ground terminal label (
